Maintenance Shift Engineer
£49,663 per annum
4 on 4 off (2 days, 6am to 6pm & 2 nights (6pm to 6am)
Llangefni site based, Fixed Term – 6 months
About the Job:
We have an opportunity within our maintenance department for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Shift Engineer, reporting to the Maintenance Team Leaders.
The main job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Undertake and contribute to projects relating to reduction of energy costs across all areas.
· Act to identify new opportunities to improve machine performance and reliability and via design, effect improvements efficiencies, troubleshooting engineering problems.
· Proactively identify and resolve problems prior to them impacting performance and reliability.
· Assist in group problem solving in conjunction with production department.
· Support maintenance programme and implementation of preventive maintenance routines.
About You:
The successful applicant will ideally have:
· HNC/HND/NVQ3 or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering related discipline
· IT Literate in Microsoft packages.
· Previous relevant experience maintaining and repairing a range of equipment in a manufacturing environment
· Working knowledge of manufacturing operations and processes
· Detailed knowledge of manufacturing equipment, and of safety requirements in the maintenance and repair of same
· Excellent communication skills
· Able to display initiative and apply problem solving skills
· Able to maintain records accurately and legibly
· Organisational and planning ability
